I live in the Perth metro area and was wondering if you by any chance have a shop where you sell your cables.
Yes - as from January 2005 you can now buy cables in person from The Tuition Centre, Suite H, Old Theatre Lane, 50-52 Bay View Terrace, Claremont using EFTPOS, VISA, Mastercard, Bankcard, cash or cheque. The Tuition Centre also run monthly courses on behalf of CASIO EDUCATION for students and teachers on how to get the most out of Casio graphics calculators. I was just wondering how long it usually takes for the cable to arrive by mail for people in Western Australia. Many people from my school have brought cables from you and it has only taken a few days to get to their house.
A few days is correct. Orders are mailed out the same day we receive them. The rest is up to Australia Post.
I live in Europe. How long would it take for my cable to arrive if I send the order form today?
Our experience of cables to the USA and Europe is about 10 days from customer sending order to receipt of cable(s). But it could be more or less....
Will the cable work with my **** model?
We have personally tested it with Casio graphics models listed on the information page. It almost certainly works with other models needing a 2.5mm jack plug, but we cannot confirm this. It will not work with other brands such as HP or TI calculators.
If the cable doesn't work with my model of calculator could I return it?
Yes, we offer a full refund if not entirely happy with your purchase.
Just wanted to inquire about the 25 to 9 pin COM port adaptors. I have an available 15 pin one but I'm not too sure if that is the correct one to fit the adaptor.
No it isn't! COM (serial) ports are the D-shaped sockets with either 9 or 25 pins at the rear of your computer. (NB pins... not holes)
Do you supply software with the cable?
Not unless specially requested. The FA-122 (recommended for CFX9850 series) or FA-123 link software can be downloaded free from these links.You can also download our free How to Install and Use Notes for the FA-122 software.
Can I pay after you have sent me my cable and I have tried it?
Sorry, our policy is to only send cables on receipt of order with payment. We are only a small business and need to minimise administration to keep our prices down. (Schools in Australia excepted - provided order is accompanied by official school order form).
Is there any discount for bulk purchases?

Why are your Comp-Calc cable links so cheap relative to others. I've priced them to be around A$150 at ABACUS.
Low overheads! Watson and Watson started out as a partnership of Brad Watson (a High School Science teacher) and Charlie Watson (Director of The Tuition Centre and a Math teacher). Now Charlie runs it all through The Tuition Centre, but cable's are not his main income, just a spin off from helping students save money on buying the 'official' cable (as you say... for three times as much!).
