fx-9860G eActivities What is an eActivity? An eActivity is like a special kind of web page in the fx-9860G - a document with text, math and embedded links in it. In an eActivity, the links are to any of the fx-9860G's applications such as Graph, Table, Stats, Solve, etc. These links create a new copy of the application, which are then saved with the eActivity. eActivities and fxNews. eActivities are supplied ready to go with every fxNews issue. Issued quarterly in CD format during 2006 and 2007 and now available as back issues, you can download fx-9860G eActivities straight from the CD into your calculator. Also on the CD's are fx-9860G news features, worksheets to accompany calculator downloads and how to tutorials covering a wide range of topics. more... What can I do with an eActivity? They can be used to create lessons, activities, or assignments which students can then work through at their own pace. They can be used to create enhanced features for the fx-9860G by creating eActivities for illustrating and solving specific types of math problems. They can be used to organise revision and summary notes for particular math topics. Once you've tried a few eActivites out, you'll see the opportunities are endless... Where can I get eActivities? You can download eActivities from several internet sites. Some sites are listed in the links page. You can also create your own - either on your fx-9860G or using the fx-9860G emulator (A free download from the Casio Worldwide site). Or you can buy fxNews and have a set of CD's mailed to you packed full of eActivities, programs, spreadsheets and other great applications for your fx-9860G. more...
